CBI Penang team had the joy of participating in the IAPWA Furry Hopes Pet Carnival, a heartwarming event that brings together pet lovers and animal welfare advocates for a day of fun and meaningful connections. This marks our second year supporting the carnival, and our volunteers stepped up with the same enthusiasm and dedication as before.

Our team divided into different roles to ensure the event’s success. Some volunteers worked behind the scenes, handling stage setup and ensuring everything was ready for the day’s performances and activities. Others provided general support, assisting with logistics, guiding attendees, and keeping the event running smoothly. Meanwhile, another group lent a hand with the charity haircut initiative, helping pets look their best while raising funds for a great cause.

Together, we played a small but meaningful part in creating a joyful and impactful experience for all—pet owners, animal lovers, and, of course, their furry friends. The carnival was a beautiful reminder of the special bond between humans and animals, and we’re honored to have contributed to its success.
