(Senior) Specialist, Vendor Management
A Day of Your Life:
- Developing and implementing vendor management policies, processes, and controls to ensure the ongoing monitoring and assessment of vendor performance and risks
- Conducting due diligence reviews on new and existing vendors to evaluate their capabilities, financial stability, and compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
- Negotiating and managing vendor contracts, service level agreements, and other commercial arrangements
- Monitoring and reporting on vendor performance, identifying and addressing any issues or areas of concern
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure vendor strategies align with the organisation's risk appetite and business priorities
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to vendor management
What You Will Need to Succeed:
- 3+ years of experience in vendor management, preferably within the banking or financial services sector
- Strong understanding of vendor management frameworks, risk assessment methodologies, and contract negotiation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and mitigate vendor-related risks
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements applicable to the banking and financial services industry
- A collaborative approach with a focus on continuous improvement
